It included the construction of twin tunnels under the Government Cut channel between S R A1A/MacArthur Causeway and the Port of Miami, the widening of the MacArthur Causeway Bridge, road surfacing works on Watson Island and the reconstruction of Dodge Island’s roads and bridges. The POMT project stretches between I-395, situated at the west end of MacArthur Causeway Bridge and the port’s roadway system on Dodge Island.
